Lid-Tastic Tuesday-OC Zoo
We REALLY do wear our Lids all the time around here, and of course I’m always snapping pictures. Somehow they just don’t make it to the blog… till now! We’ve added Lid-Tastic Tuesday! Most Tuesdays we’ll do a flashback post of pictures I never got to put on the blog.
Flashing back to August 2010!
Cy was just a floppy 2 month old, and my mommy friends and I met at the Orange County Zoo for a picnic.
(Boys brought us a dead lizard)
Cora Jane was rocking the dirt… and her Trucker Lid!
Thanks for flashing back with me!

Remember Cora Jane’s Chick-fil-a bday? Some of our good friends (Kendra from Totally the Turtle and Evan from Getting off the Bench and into the Triathlon) have a rainy season bday in their family and decided Chick-fil-a would be a great party place as well! It was adorable!!
Flashing back to January 2011…
The décor… I’m not sure how they did it but I brought everything in the night before and they set it up! Easy-peazy.
The Trucker Lid shots (it is a Lid-tastic Tuesday!)
The Chick-fil-a cow brings out the cake for the birthday song. How fun is that for the kiddos?!!?? (Unless they are terrified of walking 8 foot cow.)
The Moms…
You know I just love traditions, here is a great one from their family – for every birthday they make cookies in the shape of their new age. This has been passed down from Kendra’s childhood… which makes it even more special!
Kick a&$ favors…
The end.

I just couldn’t do a post about Chick-fil-a without mentioning my friend Jaime! She taught me how to make freezer jam AND she goes to all the openings. You have to read her posts about the shenanigans-o-fun they have!!
All about the latest one in Lakewood.
See Jaime get interviewed at the Brea Chick-fil-a opening… (and I just noticed the husband of someone else I know in the video as well!)

Flashing back to Mother’s Day 2010…
I was about a month away from birthing Cy and the weather was too blah for our annual Mom’s Day picnic so we took a bike ride. Our kiddos were tucked in and cozy wearing Lids, of course!!
We rode on down to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where I got a caramel and chocolate covered apple (one of my HUGEST pregnancy cravings with Cy).
Did I share it?
Hells NO!
After all, it was Mother’s Day…

May 8th, 2010…
If you ask my hubby he’ll tell you the father/daughter relationship is unexplainable. But I think I CAN describe it in a few pictures…
Thanks for flashing back with us!
Lid-Tastic Tuesday–Softball Game

I’m lucky to have a husband who isn’t into watching endless sports games on TV… her prefers to play in real life. So instead of losing him to a sports season I get to sit on freezing cold bleachers every week and wrangle the children. Wait… is that a good thing??
Oh well. Hot Hubby has played softball with a local league since we were married. We go to all his early games.
This is us when Eli was 7 months old in my very first Eli’s Lids prototype…
(Life with only one child… I look rested and put together. Those days are long gone)
Now our family of 5 cheers daddy on at all the early games…
(Cy 3 months)
If we’re lucky other families fill the stands with kiddos as well. Of course they all wear Lids! It gets chilly in Orange County at night!!
Raise your hand if you are adorable!!
Later!!
(Cy 7 months)
