It’s been awhile since I’ve linked up with Life Rearranged’s InstaFriday. I just love love love to document my phone pictures.

I can’t believe Christmas is here! These are pix from Sam’s Club (my favorite store). Cora was miffed we couldn’t buy the giant soldier.

Today I’m taking Cy in for six pages of blood tests. (Remember his sores and our hospital stay.) He’s had a crazy sore/growth on his tongue since June. It’s gross. We’ve been to loads of Drs and are hoping this one can diagnose it. If you know of anything it could be (you know, a friend of a friend story), please share. That would help a lot!

My children are growing up. Are yours? What’s that about???

It sure is bittersweet.

HA!!!!)

The Star Wars exhibit at the Discovery Science Center is RAD. If you like star wars it’s worth going. I think Hot Hubby and I might go on a date night to see all the stuff we couldn’t take in with kiddos.

I went to the Queen Bee market with my friends Kyla and Jaime. Afterward was a Mindy Gledhill concert. Her voice is beautiful. I regret not getting her Christmas CD while I was there. She has 3 sons… how lame would it be if I sent her some Lids?

How much to you love her voice!!?!?

December means Advent Dinner and Hot Hubby’s family company Christmas party! (Just as fun as last time)

Then the actual formal company party that night.

Yes, you see bumper cars and I’m jumping on bubble wrap.

I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome it is to jump and pop bubble wrap. It’s everything you have dreamed of and more!! (see pix from last time here). I think it would be really fun to do at a kiddo birthday party!

I’ve started walking for exercise (I’m a whale).

Mostly to the post office to drop off orders. Just a bit more time left on our sale!!

The big kiddos were in night VBS (at the Bridge) and it was like date night with Cy every night.

AWESOME!!

If you ever have a chance to enroll your kiddos in an evening program, you should! I know it may mess up bedtime a bit but it is soooo worth it.

Job 16:5 spoke to me this week.

“But my mouth would encourage you; comfort from my lips would bring you relief.”

Praying my hubby, children and friends feel that way around me. 

Finally went to Over the Hump Bike Mountain Bike Race! (Thanks for telling us about it Kelly & Carrie!) Hot Hubby raced and didn’t get last… though no one ranked after him actually finished the race. We’ll be doing it again, so come and join us!

We like to visit “Daddy’s work.” Eli had his first Double-Double.

But don’t think we eat hamburgers everyday! This before and after Sam’s Club run proves it. That fruit will be eaten in 2 weeks… max.

We headed down to Laguna Beach for this year’s Pageant of the Masters. You know we love anything live (doesn’t date night at the movies get old!?!?). Add a romantic star-lit setting and beautiful art and we are in.

Our 7 year tradition lives on!

I can’t believe another week has gone by!! Time for an end of the week wrap-up with Life Rearranged’s InstaFriday!

I’ve always loved putting a flower in my hair… makes it look like I put some effort into my daily ponytail. I’m thinking I need some sweepy bangs in the near future…

Went to the best 1st bday party ever! They had an In-N-Out Burger cookout truck.

Jealous much?

I just joined foursquare. It’s absolutely ridiculous but for some reason I have a crazy desire to be the mayor of Souplantation. We’ll be there every weekend to secure my position. We went this week and a fire truck zoomed by. We followed it… (try to impress your kids much?) and got to watch them put out a dumpster fire behind PetSmart.

Kiddos were thoroughly impressed! Total success!

Once again BabySteals got me. I love them! Get one!

Visited my parents for a Memorial Day BBQ (my dad makes the BEST smoked tri-tip EVER) and passed the local market.

Had a dinner picnic at our community pool. I’m pretty anti-soda, but there is something about drinking them out of the glass that makes my heart smile!

Remember how I was sick last week? No dishes got done… NONE! It was gross. REALLY gross. Thankfully my hubby eventually did them. I paid him in kisses. Lots of them!! (wink)

Proof Eli is a giant.

I’ve been a book club since Eli was 3 months old. I highly recommend it. This months book was Same Kind of Different as Me. You have to read it! We had our meeting at Paradise Perks Coffee House in Irvine and it was so much fun.

Every week Hot Hubby takes one kiddo out on a Daddy Date Night/Guys Night Out (depending on gender of kiddo) and this week was Cora Jane’s turn. Which means Eli got Mommy (almost) to himself. We played Legos and drooled over the Playmobile catalog. I adore this lil’ boy!

Today we were invited to Pretend City (post coming soon) to see the grand opening of the library and the dentist office. These lil’ fellows were in the library and for some reason I {heart} them!

Has it been a week???

Cy was sick then I was sick. And if your house is like mine, you know the world stops when mommy is ill.

Before all the illnesses hit we had a family Date Night at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor. We should have known something was coming when Cy refused to eat ice cream! Our sundae was a hit but Cora Jane thought the birthday songs were too loud…

Summer shoes… check!

Just happened to go to Old Navy on their $1 flip flop sale. I’ve never gotten them before but I couldn’t be happier with the fit. Got 3 for me and 2 pairs for each of the kiddos. I’m thinking the $1 sale will be a new summer tradition!

When Cy’s fever hit, it hit hard. His highest was 104.1! Our happy baby was a grump. We were up most of the night with the lil’ buggar. All my kiddos have REALLY high fevers while teething. Is that normal??

Eli likes his hair long (like Samson) and I keep trying to get that long flippy surfer boy look… but it mostly ends up looking like trailer trash. We were so surprised when he announced he wanted to cut his hair!

Listening to scripture time before bed is rad!

If you haven’t seen the new In-N-Out Burger onsies, you need to! Cute overload.

Runny nose, watery eyes, tired and cranky. I think the tired and cranky might be from the fetus. Either way, the green tea has been a flowin’ and the messy house is a growin’.

I’ve mentioned my fetus is lazy and non moving (boy?). At my monthly appointment I become a nervous wreck thinking they won’t find a heartbeat. My mind goes down a slippery slope of thoughts about infant loss. And it makes me cry. Irrational, I know. But I think I’ll start scheduling my appointments for earlier in the day to keep my crazy thoughts at bay.
