I got it at Anthropologie…

I’m a huge fan of Anthropologie.

I’m not a huge fan of their prices.

I have a few tricks I’ll share about that… but not today :)

They just had a huge sale and I got these salt and pepper shakers for $14.95…

I got it at anthro salt and pepper_pic

Aren’t they just divine?? (especially reflected in my new pot on the right!) I can’t quite figure out what the 3rd croc is for… but it has a little spoon and it’s that little spoon that sold me!! I put sugar in it? Thoughts??

I also picked up these little spice containers for $1.95 each…

I got it at anthro spices_pic

They say Thyme, Curry, Chile and Basil. Will I use them for spices?

Ummm… no.

I’m thinking my secret candy stash.

Chile = Hot Tamales (because they are spicy)

Thyme = Skittles (because there is always time for a Skittle)

Curry = M&M’s (To curry favor with the children I give them M&M’s)

Basil = DOVE chocolates (something creative with Dove & the word basil)

There may still be some awesome sales going on in the store and of course there are always new things on their website sale page!

Keep thinking of things you want to show off or deals you want to share and come back here to link up on Sunday for the “I got it at…” Carnival!

  • Howard Beneduce:

We really enjoy this blog. Iwish I could come here all the time.

  • [...] I have a weakness for dishes (remember my turkeys?). There is just something about a beautiful table setting that gets my heart a pumpin’. On Thanksgiving my grandmom gave me my birthday gift – some of her milk glass that I’ve had my eye on for ages. Have you heard of Milk Glass? It’s absolutely beautiful vintage dinnerware that comes in blue, green white & pink.  Now I own 9 brunch plates with punch cups, a kick a&$ pineapple sugar bowl, a little votive (I think it’s a votive) and another thingy. I don’t know what it is, do you? I thought I would ask because of all the help I got with my salt and pepper shakers. [...]

  • Great finds!! The little pot is for MUSTARD! Little sets like this used to be in every kitchen in Europe, filled with Grey Poupon type of mustard.

only YOU could think up the candy spice idea…love that. xo Lidy

  • I just love those spice jars and I probably wouldn't use them for spices either, candy is a great idea! And sugar mist definitely for the other jar. Super cute!

  • I only shop Anthropologie on a sale. I just got the cutest dress last weekend with the Mother's Day gift card my mom sent (so I didn't have to spend anything!) and I think I have some $ left over. Sugar, yes and candy stash AWESOME. Love the way you think girl. Cheers!
