I got milk glass from my Grandmom…
Mondays I like to share something I got. We all like to share a good deal, splurge, unique find or fun activity. If you got something awesome (or lame) recently and blogged about it, be sure to leave me a link to the post in the comments!
I have a weakness for dishes (remember my turkeys?). There is just something about a beautiful table setting that gets my heart a pumpin’. On Thanksgiving my grandmom gave me my birthday gift – some of her milk glass that I’ve had my eye on for ages.
Have you heard of Milk Glass? It’s absolutely beautiful vintage dinnerware that comes in blue, green white & pink. Now I own 9 brunch plates with punch cups, a kick a&$ pineapple sugar bowl, a little votive (I think it’s a votive) and another thingy. I don’t know what it is, do you? I thought I would ask because of all the help I got with my salt and pepper shakers.
And some milk glass for you to drool over…

I’m Thankful…
I’m thankful we are so (overly) blessed we could adopt a family through our church and provide them with a HUGE Thanksgiving feast as well as groceries to last a couple of weeks…
I’m thankful to live in the USA…
I’m thankful for sewing…
I’m thankful for snowman pirates made of play dough… (can you guess who made these?)
I’m thankful for father daughter dances after dinner…
I’m thankful someone is sitting…
I’m thankful for my biz…
Most of all I’m thankful I don’t have to cook today!
What are you thankful for???
Thanksgiving quickie…
Check out my video (full post on OC Family) to make these beauties:
(How much do you love how the video paused me??!?)
Also see how I transformed my star and “L” for the fall…
Warning: I must have been in the mood for corn.
I discovered an adorable cupcake blog, Cute Cupcakes. All The Time., and saw this beauty. I think it’s a great modification of the Chick-fil-a Cow. In fact, I think I want an In-N-Out Burger…
Speaking of In-N-Out… did you know INO has a race car this year?
I did.
Happy Turkey day! Have fun cooking. If you watch the video you’ll know what I’ll be making this year.

Pinkalicious birthday fun…
Have you heard about the book Pinkalicious? It’s adorable and this month we were invited to a Pinkalicious birthday party. There was only one requirement for the party – guests must wear pink!!
I love a good party theme. Add a clothing challenge and I get all tingly! I whipped up this awesome tee for my boys. Don’t you love it!?!? (Is my hubby a good sport, or what?)
The birthday girl was Pinkalicious to the 10th degree, complete with pink cupcakes, just like in the story!
This was the first time I got to read the Pinkalicious book. It really is cute and I know Cora Jane would love to own in (hint hint Nannie or Yaya).
Cyrus is still in matching denial…
Of course I can’t forget to show a pic of my own Pinkalicious cutie, who ate her weight in watermelon…
Real Men Wear Pink tees will be available soon at Eli’s Lids!!
I got it from Sweet Lily Tutus…

Today on the birthday catch-up series we’ll flashback to September for…
At this party Cy was 3 months old and I was just getting in the grove of having boys that get to match for events. (It’s no secret I match my family for special events… I’m that lame!) I got custom pirate tie tees from Sweet Lily Tutus. Cheri (from SLT) also custom made the Yoda tee above AND she makes other tie tees too…
Cy loved his matching tie onsie…
The party was at Serrano Creek Park in Lake Forest. It’s a great park and the kiddos got a kick out of the horse trail running though the place. Party favors were felt Superhero capes the kiddos got to decorate with stars. Great idea!!!!
The birthday boy wanted donuts instead of a cake…
Fun Fact: Kai & Eli have the same birthday, exactly 1 year apart, almost to the minute!
Don’t you just love little boy profiles!?!?!
Thanks for the awesome tie tees and SUPER fun SUPERhero party!
(dress from Kait Emerson Designs!)
Then a few of the party goers headed to an Eli’s Lids hot spot, In-N-Out Burger, to break some bread. 6 rambunctious boys + 1 princess = adorable!
Cheri has graciously offered 15% off anything in her shop with the coupon code 032910. She specializes in custom birthday outfits for girls, check them out!
Thanks Sweet Lily Tutus!!
